SURVEILLANCE AND SECURITY DRONE

Surveillance missions, day or night, require precision, speed and efficiency to enable appropriate  decision-making. Thanks to drones, it is possible to  get as close as possible, to visualize very clearly an object located more than one or even two kilometers away. The images are recorded on board the drone for later analysis and retransmitted to the ground in real time, on a screen or tablet, for rapid intervention.

The whole point of a surveillance drone lies in its extreme versatility. A remotely piloted aircraft (regular term to define a drone) deploys at very high speed. It can carry several different types of sensors: thermal camera for drone, camera with optical zoom X30 or X50, ultra high definition camera etc. The drone has the advantage of being able to go to areas inaccessible to humans, but in addition to approaching at low altitude as close as possible to the area to be monitored.

Some surveillance drones such as the DJI Matrice 210 are capable of carrying two sensors simultaneously which can be controlled independently. And this while having a video return of the two cameras in parallel. Thanks to this type of system, it is thus possible to couple a thermal view with another view allowing a large zoom: particularly useful for locating a person, a heat zone.
